This our first vintage Blanc de Noirs 2015 made from Pinot Noir grapes was a labour of love from the outset, with near perfect conditions during the 2015 season, grapes harvested at ideal sugar and acid levels, gentle pressing and slow fermentation that resulted in a small tank of beautiful base wine. "I simply could not blend it into my Nature or Reserve blend, it begged to be bottled on its own", says winemaker Carla. The result after 42 months on the lees is a one-off, special release, named after Carla's daughter who was born while this cuvée was developing.
Tasting notes: Lovely silky texture; aromas of lime blossom, fresh cherry and strawberry jam with flavours of raspberry, rose, pomegranate and white peach. Delicate, fine mousse.
